How do I choose which photos the app can access?

At first launch, allow the whole library or select a limited set. Limited access is supported. Use the add-photos control on the home screen to change the selection, or change JPG Photos' photo access in system Settings.

Why are no photos showing?

Check that your authorized selection includes photos or videos. iCloud-only originals may need to download through system services. Check your connection and use Retry when offered. An empty Videos screen is expected if you have authorized no videos. The app does not require current-location, camera, or microphone permission.

How do I find photos I have already reviewed?

New groups use saved review history to avoid previously reviewed items. The timeline canvas still lets you browse authorized photos and videos. Pinch inward during a photo review to see items from nearby dates. If saving history fails, the app offers a retry.

Does swiping up delete a photo immediately?

During photo review, swiping up only marks an item for later deletion. At the end of the group, review your selection and then confirm the system's deletion request. The system photo library manages the result. The app does not automatically empty Recently Deleted. If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletion may also synchronize through the system.

Why does the reported size differ from storage freed immediately?

Statistics show known original resource sizes. iCloud, optimized local storage, and Recently Deleted affect actual free space. Unknown sizes are not treated as zero or counted as confirmed space freed.

What does file sharing preserve?

The system share sheet exports original files, which may retain capture time and location metadata. Sharing a Live Photo exports its original still image. GIFs and videos are shared as original files. The recipient you choose handles the file under its own policies.

Where is my data, and how do I remove local records?

No account is required. Review history, deletion records, statistics, and preferences stay on your device and are not uploaded to the developer. Delete the app to remove local records; offloading the app keeps its data. System backups may retain records and restore them later. Manage backups in system Settings. Deleting the app does not delete your system photo library.

Why does the app use the network?

System services may download iCloud-only media. When you open photo details, Apple's geocoding service resolves the photo's existing coordinates to a place name. The app does not request your device's current location. Other main browsing logic runs on device.
